Having an irrigation system allows your lawn and landscape to be nourished when Mother Nature isn’t providing or when you have specific watering needs. The installation process takes the support of an entire company to ensure smooth flow that include the office staff, designer consultant, and install foreman. ConsultingConsulting is the first step toward designing a worry free irrigation system that provides the most uniform coverage possible, getting water where you need it, in the proper amount avoiding over and under watering. Because no irrigation system is standard, we review each site and listen to your ideas and discuss your irrigation needs. The consultant then creates a site drawing and collects water pressure and flow information that will be used later in the Design Phase. Design PhaseThe design phase is an important part of the process where we map out your irrigation system starting with the head locations. Once the head locations are determined we can develop a hydraulically correct system that delivers the water precisely insuring the system meets your needs and functions properly and efficiently for many years to come. Design ReviewDesign review is the last stage before installation. The consultant will show you a detailed drawing of the irrigation design, go over installation processes, discuss the features, answer your questions and discuss the installation fee. Once we are given the opportunity, the installation process begins. Proper InstallationProper installation is the final step that makes your irrigation system a reality. The installation foreman is charged with overseeing the crew, and making sure that all systems are installed using CTI techniques. When the installation is complete, the foreman will show you how the system works, including the use of the controller, as well as the location of the systems major components. The installation foreman then updates the drawing to show the locations of the major components including: main line and zone line pipe, wire, backflow device and valve boxes. This becomes useful when adding landscaping, fencing or other features so they may be avoided while digging. The office staff does their part by scheduling, the install, calling in utilities to be marked and keeping up to date on the current requirements and permits needed for each community. Consultants continue learning the new products and process to ensure CTI continues to be a leading edge provider that make |
